Confirmation Camp at

Camp Lutherwood

August 5-10, 2007

 

Get ready for the most fun week of the summer!  We will spend 6 days in the beautiful setting of Camp Lutherwood.  While there, we will play in the fields, go creek-walking, hit the swimming pool, play Frisbee golf, hang out at the craft shed, make new friends, and worshipping God around the evening campfires! 

 

You will be placed into a cabin with a college-aged counselor who will make sure you will have a great time.  Each day, we will get together with some of the other churches for confirmation “classes,” which is really just a way of saying we will talk about our faith and do some more great activities together. 

 

The St Andrew van will leave the church parking lot on Sunday, August 5^th after the 11am worship service, and will return on Friday, August 10^th..  Be sure to check your packing lists and bring the forms you need for registration.  If you have any questions at this point, please give Todd a call at the church or send an email.

 

As we count down the days to this trip, we ask the congregation to hold up our youth and the adults who will be participating in this trip in your prayers.  It is our hope that this event will be a milestone and permanent marker along the journey of faith for all involved.
