Welcome to St. Andrew Lutheran Preschool!

Why Choose St. Andrew?

There are many reasons!  A partial list: 

Small class sizes / Low class ratios:   3's = 2 teachers to 13 children; 4's=2 teachers to 16 children.  Lowest ratios in area surrounding St. Andrew. 

Committed and experienced Teachers and Assistant Teachers:  Three of the four teachers have undergraduate degrees; one has extensive experience with children and child welfare.

Extensive parental support from teaching staff:  Teachers are willing and available to provide feedback and support to parents.

Free parenting classes!  (Child care provided for a small fee and you buy/borrow your own book.)

Christian Curriculum, including bi-weekly chapel with a Pastor or the Youth Ministry Director.

Emphasis on social and emotional development.

Many varied literacy activities in the classroom as well as "Literacy Bags" to check-out and use at home.

A "Home Visit" in late summer by the child's teacher to prepare the child for Preschool.

We are owned and operated by St. Andrew Lutheran Church as a part of its continuing commitment to be a people of God called to Proclaim, Serve and Nurture through the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Purpose

St. Andrew Preschool is committed to:

  6. Forming a partnership with the parents in education of their child.

  7. Offering parent education opportunities.

  8. Providing avenues for incorporation of school families into the church and church members into the school.
