Advanced Educational Scholarship |
|
The St. Andrew Foundation has established a scholarship for those engaged in advanced educational work in preparation for service within the church.
Emily Johnson, a daughter of our congregation, has been awarded such a scholarship for studies at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She is keeping a blog about her experiences entitled, "Partners for the Journey," that may be accessed here. |

Post-Secondary Education Scholarships |
|
The St. Andrew Foundation awards High School Graduates small scholarships to be used toward post secondary school education. There is no competition and no essay is required—we only ask that you provide a short answer to the question:
Our service of baptism states: “Let your light shine before others that they may see your good works…” How will you let your light shine while embarking on this course of study?

Applications for these funds are due by June 1.

This summer checks will be presented to all HS seniors who apply, are members or active participants in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, and who are pursuing some type of post secondary education. The amount of this year’s scholarship is $300 per student.
The award of post-high school scholarships is just one way the Foundation looks to the future. |
