MINISTRY PLAN 2007-2008

“A Place of Grace” Seven Initiatives

 

  1. Take further steps toward becoming an intergenerational, multi-cultural, multi-contextual gathering place to experience and share God’s grace – “A Place of Grace.”

 

  1. Develop a ministry plan for worship, music, and the arts at St. Andrew.

 

  1. Cultivate “Faith Share” as a model for ministry and mission projects in our neighborhood, our communities and beyond.
    1. Put the “A Place of Grace” seed money to work.
    2. Develop at least one new ministry in one of the St. Andrew houses.

 

  1. Nurture a growing faith in and across all ages and equip people for ministry in Jesus’ name.
    1. Implement plan of Children’s Ministry Task Force.
    2. Call a new staff person in the area of Children, Youth, and Family ministry.

 

  1. Strengthen the process for welcoming people and for incorporating them into the life and ministry of our community of faith.
    1. Identify a leader for the Welcome Team.
    2. Establish a “ministry booth” in the narthex.

 

  1. Seek to become a “green congregation” that models environmental awareness and stewardship.

 

  1. Break ground on Phase 1 of Facility Improvement Plan.
